I admired Dr. Briggs for his dedication to his patients, his integrity and his knowledge. I used Dr. Briggs for my own physician for years and my best memory of him is him coming to my home at TreeLoft apts. to check on me at home, with his wife by his side while under his care for pneumonia. I will NEVER forget the compassion of this great man and Doctor. May God bless you Dr. Briggs, you will surely be missed.

Prayers for the family. Dr. Briggs was an excellent employer. He continually showed compassion and his Christian values with all people. He valued the oath that he took as a young man to care for his patients to the best of his knowledge. He was more than a physician to most people. He was a friend whom they knew they could count on when they or their families were sick. I believe you are finally home Dr. Briggs, rest in your Lord and Savior's presence. I believe he would have everyone know from his life, that you are first to serve the Lord and then others . What a legecy that you have left. thanks for allowing me to be part of your great work in this community. You will be missed greatly.

Dr. Briggs had been like a part of my family. He provided qailty medical treatment for as long as I can remember.
Every time before I left his office, he would quote a scripture from the Bible. I began to look forward to that part of my visit every time.
He will be truly missed. Praying for the family, God bless each of you.

Dr. Briggs cared for my family while his office was in Milan. He cared for our son who passed away as child. He was so kind to us during that time. He and my husband shared their love for the Lord many times. We have not seen Dr. Briggs in many years, but we will never forget him. May the Lord shine his presence and peace on each family member during this time.

SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YET ANOTHER LEGEND IN MCRAE. HE WAS A GOOD DOCTOR AND VERY LOYAL TO HIS PATIENTS. AS LONG AS HE PRACTICED, IF HIS PATIENT WAS SICK, HE COME TO SEE THEM. NOT TOO MANY DO THAT ANYMORE.

I only knew Dr. Briggs for a few years. I agree with what has already been posted: McRae has witnessed the passing of a legend. No doubt that his robe in eternity will have pockets for his pens. May his legacy be remembered as a doctor that served his God and his community well.
