Richard Clements Welch, 54, of Horseshoe Lake, TN, was born October 21, 1962 the son of Elizabeth Clements Welch and the late Richard Vanneman Welch. The grandson of the late Horace Lee Clements, Sr. and the late Clara Mae Clark Clements, he entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2017 in Memphis, TN. Mr. Welch was a truck driver and pilot until his health did not allow him to continue his love of flying and hard work. He was a graduate of Hot Springs High School where he was an exchange student and studied aviation at Central Flying School of Little Rock, AR, where he received his Private Pilot license and had excelled toward his Instrument Flight Rating. Mr. Welch is survived by his mother, one brother, Michael David Welch (Story); of Hot Springs, a nephew Randall (Christine); and a niece La Tisha (Nathan) along with his uncle Horace Lee Clements, Jr. of Jacksonville, Georgia and his aunt Evelyn Marie Luper of Texas.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, January 12, at Clements Cemetery, Jacksonville, GA.
