William Cerbert Brue, 81, of Lumber City, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 17. A visitation will be held at 1:00P.M., Friday, November 20, at Fishing Creek Cemetery, followed by a graveside funeral service at 2:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Lumber City, Mr. Brue was the son of the late Dan C. and Sallie Lou Ray Brue. He was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church and Midway Prayer Breakfast. Mr. Brue was married to the late Brenda Seagraves Brue, and had retired from Hazlehurst Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Barnes of Lumber City; children, Connie Floyd of Lumber City, David (Becky) Brue of Baxley, Wesley Brue of Lumber City and Tonya (Jamie) Bryant of Cookeville, TN; brother, Bill (Darlene) Brue of Palm Coast, FL; and grandchildren, Ashley Brue of Lumber City, Riley Bryant and Landon Bryant, both of Cookeville, TN.
