Susan Russell Obituary

Susan Gosdin Russell, 67, of Milan, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 19. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A native of Carrollton, Mrs. Russell was the daughter of the late Garfield F. and Montine Lancaster Gosdin. She was a mental health counselor for most of her life and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She loved her family and she was a great partner to travel through life with. She will be deeply missed. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her aunt, Irene Lancaster Yawn and uncle, Charlie Austin Yawn.

Survivors include her husband, Vern Russell of Milan; children, Alex Russell of Nashville, TN and Savanna (Adam) Johnson of LaGrange; sister, Nancy (Dave) Meabon of Perrysburg, OH; and six grandchildren.
