Lucy Belle (Haymons) Spires

Lucy Belle Haymons Spires, 96, of McRae, died peacefully on Monday, March 8.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, March 11, at the Milan Cemetery.  The family will greet friends following the service.

A native of Milan, Mrs. Spires was the daughter of the late Vivian Haymons and the late Doshie Boyd Friddle.  She was the wife of the late Authur Melvin Spires, Sr., was a member of McRae First Baptist Church, and had retired from Roydon Wear.  Mrs. Spires was preceded in death by a son, Skeet Spires; daughter, Vivian Webster; and a brother, Walter Bryant Friddle.

Survivors include her daughter, Scarlett (Ronny) Clark of Alamo; grandchildren, Tim (Donna) Spires, Kelly (Sara Elizabeth) Spires, Terri (Chris) Clark, Mark (Kim) Clark, Honey (Steve) Cook and Melanie (Rhett) Knight; great-grandchildren, Breanna Spires, Mary Beth (Justin) Williams, Makayla Clark, Kelly Royce Spires, Karmin Clark, Vivianna Clark, Carson Cook, Kamrin Clark, Kaden Knight, Carter Cook, Kadee Knight and Kacee Knight; and great-great-grandchildren, Jase Williams and Jeb Williams.
