Linda Sue (Strom) Knowles

Linda Sue Strom Knowles, 74, of Cary, NC, passed on Friday, July 2, following a recent illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, July 7, at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-8:00P.M. Masks are required to attend visitation and graveside service.

A native of Telfair County where she lived most of her life, Mrs. Knowles was the daughter of the late James Edward Strom and the late Chessie Lou McDuffie Strom.  She was employed with AIG Insurance for many years before moving to North Carolina where she was President of LCK Concrete.  Mrs. Knowles was preceded in death by her husband,. Howard Kenneth Knowles, her son, Kenneth Craig Knowles, and a sister, Janice Marie Strom Harris.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Carlin Knowles of Rhine; brothers, Bonny Strom of Dublin, Curtis Strom of Fort Valley and Dewayne Strom of Vidalia.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Active pallbearers include Curtis Strom, Bonny Strom, Dewayne Strom, Michael Strom, Chandler Strom and Zack Strom.
