Janice (Strom) Harris

Janice Strom Harris, 66, of Milan, died Wednesday, September 30, following a lengthy illness.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00P.M., Friday, October 2, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial at Bethlehem (Sandhill) Church Cemetery.  Visitation is an hour prior to the service.

A native of Houston County, Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late James Edward Strom and the late Chessie Lee McDuffie Strom.  She attended Central Grove Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Harris, Sr., and children, Thomas (Jackie) Harris and Kristyn (Gary) Rothwell, all of Milan; brothers and sister, Bonny (Gail) Strom of Dublin, Curtis (Brenda) Strom of Kathleen, Dewayne Strom of Vidalia and Linda Knowles of Carey, NC; grandchildren, Aleah Harris, Ally Freeman, Alana Rothwell and Bentley Rothwell; and several nieces and nephews.
