Obituary

Ida Mae Hulett Register, 80, of Jacksonville died peacefully Saturday, August 27, following a recent illness.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., Tuesday, August 30, at Emanuel Apostolic Church with burial at Blockhouse Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, 5:00-7:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Register was the daughter of the late Oscar Hawkins Hulett and the late Irene McLeod Hulett.  A seamstress with Roydon Wear for many years, she also was employed with Fleetwood Drapery.  She was a member of Emanuel Apostolic Church and was preceded in death by husbands, William Register and Charles Roy Williamson.

Survivors include her children, Angela (Robert) Lott of Douglas, William Frank Register of Jacksonville, Brenda Phillips of Fitzgerald, James Register of Jacksonville and Sheila (Cliff) Short of Douglas; brother and sister, Gerald Hulett of Bowling, KY and Lessie Pittman of Rhine; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
