Dorothy Gunn Miller, 92, of Macon, died Tuesday, December 22. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, December 26, at Rebecca Baptist Church Cemetery, Milan.
Born in Telfair County, Ms. Miller was the daughter of the late John Daniel Gunn and the late Maria Cravey Gunn. A graduate of Georgia College, she taught at Milan High School and at J. Elsworth Hall Elementary School, Macon, for most of her career. Ms. Miller was a member of Rebecca Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Miller.
Survivors include her children, Sherry (Steve) Jarrell of Gray, Terry (Tracey) Miller of Milan, Ken (Ann) Miller of Gray and Keith (Edwinna) Miller of Gray; sisters, Omega Gunn of Augusta and Zella (Brad) Bradsher of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Beth (Ronnie) Midkiff, Britni Miller, Lance (Ashley) Miller, Kelly (Marcus) Devaney, Kristopher (Greer) Miller, Chloe Bramlett, Trent Miller, Chance Fennell, Kristen (John) Stokes and Ashley (Justin) McKinney; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Midkiff, Raegan Midkiff, Patrick Devaney, Levi Devaney, Lucas Miller, Ava Miller, Abram Miller, Conner Peebles, Joshua Stokes, Noah McKinney, Tallon McKinney, Eli McKinney and Cooper McKinney.
Due to COVID-19, the family kindly requests that everyone wear a mask at the graveside service.
