Barbara Ann (Brown) Watson

Barbara Ann Brown Watson, 80, of Helena, died Friday, January 1, following a brief illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, January 3, at Alamo Memorial Cemetery.

A native of Wheeler County, Ms. Watson was the daughter of the late William Wesley Brown, Sr., and the late Louise White Brown.  She worked in the Telfair County High School Lunchroom for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lewis Watson, Sr. and a son, Jack Lewis Watson, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Franklin (Ann) Watson, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL, Patsy (David) May of Eastman, Shelia (Bill) Watson of Helena, Jim Watson of Jacksonville, FL and Kathy (David) Ritchie of Alamo; sister, Linda Davis of Helena; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
