Annie Jo Tribble Giddens, 84, of McRae, died suddenly Saturday, August 6, following a recent illness. A funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Monday, August 8, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday, 3:00-5:00P.M.
A native of Jones County, Mrs. Giddens was the daughter of the late Hubert Lee Tribble and the late Susie Ophelia McMichael Tribble. Married to the late Clark Giddens for 59 years, she was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Giddens was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Donnie Kay Hart.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Hart of Chauncey, Deborah (Michael) Fetting of Angier, NC and Clara Giddens of McRae; grandchildren, Laura McCoy, J.R. Hart, Nathan Fetting, Victoria Pippin, Kel Pippin and Amalia Throckmorton; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
