William Landon Conner
William Landon Conner, 12, of McRae, graduated to Heaven with honors on Sunday, April 1. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00P.M., Thursday, April 5, at China Hill Christian Church, with burial in the Milan Church of God Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 5:00-8:00P.M.
A lifelong resident of Telfair County, Landon attended Milan Church of God and China Hill Christian Church. A gifted student at Telfair County Schools, he obtained Honors with Distinction and was a Beta Club member. Landon had plans to become a Cardiovascular Surgeon.
Survivors include his parents, Tonya (Hulett) and Ronnie Conner, McRae; brother, Layton Thompson, McRae; grandparents, Charles & Wilma Conner, McRae, Lisa & Bobby Johnson, Jesup and John Hulett, Milan; great-grandmothers, Ruby Taylor, McRae and Mary Ellen Hulett, Milan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
