William "Bill" Henry McRae, Jr.

Funeral services for William H. “Bill” McRae, Jr., 58, of Helena, will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, June 7, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Telfair Memorial Gardens.  Visitation is Thursday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Bill was the son of Dr. Billy McRae and the late Janiece Potts McRae.  A machinist at Roper for several years, he later moved his employment to Robins Air Force Base where he worked for fourteen years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Maria M. McRae, Helena; sons, Michael David McRae, McRae, William H. McRae, III, Savannah, and Amy McRae (Leo) Cordero, Tucker; father, Dr. Billy McRae, McRae; sister and brothers, Debbie McRae, Ft. Myers, FL, Keith (Pam) McRae, Macon, and Chris McRae, McRae; and grandchildren, Makenzie McRae, Joshua McRae, Kayla McRae, Samantha Cordero and Sarah Cordero.
