Walter C Riddle, Jr.
Walter C. Riddle, Jr., 95, of Alamo, died Saturday, May 7. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Tuesday, May 10, at Alamo First Baptist Church with burial in the Alamo Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Alamo, Mr. Riddle was the son of the late Walter C. Riddle, Sr. and the late Thelma Shurling Riddle. A U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of Alamo First Baptist Church and was retired from Little Ocmulgee E.M.C. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Riddle.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnell Riddle, Alamo; children, Johnny Riddle, Helena, Judy (Jerry) Powell, Lumber City and Jimmy Riddle, Alamo; brothers, Wayne (Jane) Riddle, McRae and Billy (Wanda) Riddle, Decatur; grandchildren, Mandy Riddle, Cindy Riddle, Jason (Mandy) Powell and Joni Powell; and great-grandchildren, Marley Powell and Mason Powell.
