Sue Parkerson Swanson, 65, of Milan, died Wednesday, April 4. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30A.M., Saturday, April 7, in the Milan Cemetery.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Swanson was the daughter of Mollie Sue Kelly Parkerson and the late Bealer Franklin Parkerson. A retired teacher at Telfair County Middle School, she was a member of Milan Church of God. Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Parkerson.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Swanson; daughter, Paige Waters; mother, Mollie Sue Parkerson; brother, Frank Parkerson; sister, Karen Brown; and three grandchildren, Taylor Aston, Sidney Waters and Chase Waters.
