The service for Mrs. Horton has been changed from graveside to St. Paul Holiness Church.

Shirley Marie Thompson Horton, 74, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, March 25.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Tuesday, March 28, at St. Paul Holiness Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

A native of Wheeler County, Mrs. Horton was the daughter of the late Ed Thompson and the late Juanita Selph Hood.  She was of holiness faith and was a clerk with Flash Foods for many years.  Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by children, Selena Wrye and Tony Geiger Horton; and grandson, Johnathan Bohannon.

Survivors include her husband, Geiger A. Horton of Jacksonville; son, Danny (Deanna) Horton of O'Brien, FL; sister, Faye Vaughn of McRae; brother, Joe Thompson of Eatonton; grandchildren, Lyndsey Horton, Jenna Horton and Jessica (Michael) Belk; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Sapp, Kaylee Sapp, Kaitlyn Belk, Andrew Belk, Brantley Browning and Annalyse Browning.
