Rosa Charlene (James) Truelove

Rosa Charlene James Truelove, 85, of Alamo, died Monday, August 3, following a brief illness.  Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville and aprivate service will be held at a later date.

A native of Meridian, MS, Ms. Truelove was the daughter of the late Fred and Rosa Ethridge James and was married to the late Roy Carl Truelove.  She was a long time resident of Wheeler County and had lived at Bethany Rose Garden of Vidalia for the last two years.  Ms. Truelove was proud to be a mother, and the wife of a veteran.  She was a substitute teacher at Telfair County High School for several years; a volunteer Pink Lady, and enjoyed gardening and collecting recipes.  Ms. Truelove was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Truelove; brothers Fred L. James and Bill James; and sister, Nancy James.

Survivors include her daughters, Rose Marie (David) Wojdyla, Kathy (Terry) Giles and Sarah L. Truelove; sister, Lawana James; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
