Robert Louie Varnadoe, Jr.
Robert Louie Varnadoe, Jr., 60, of Alamo, died Monday, January 13. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, January 15, at Springhill Baptist Church with burial in the Springhill Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Wheeler County, Mr. Varnadoe was the son of the late Robert Louie Varnadoe, Sr. and the late Helen Eugenia Bass Varnadoe. He was a supervisor with Rayonier and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Mr. Varnadoe was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Smith.
Survivors include his daughter, Shanda Varnadoe (Darrell) Stokes, Alamo; sons, Robert “Bert” Louie Varnadoe, III, Glenwood and Gattlin Varnadoe, Alamo; sisters, Jackie (Bobby) Rowland and Catherine (Billy) Barker, both of Alamo; and grandchildren, Ethan James Stokes and Owen Brice Stokes.
