Robert McKindley Harrelson

Robert McKindley Harrelson, 71, of Helena, died Wednesday, October 7, following a lengthy illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, October 9, at Harrelson Family Cemetery.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

A native of Wheeler County where he’d lived most of his life, Mr. Harrelson was the son of the late Henry Hugh Harrelson and the late Elsie Inez Rainey Harrelson.  He was the owner/operator of Harrelson Paint and Body and attended Community Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Rene of Helena; sons, Robbie (Tammy) Harrelson of Helena, Scott Harrelson (Cindy) of Milan, Justin Harrelson (Kayla) of Helena and Ryan Harrelson (Erin) of Helena; sisters, Shirley Nobles (Willie) of Helena, Jackie Brown of Lyons, Verma Rivers of Englewood, FL, Dena Howell (Jr.) of Eastman and Helen Nunn of Alamo; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
