Peggy Ann Cherry Lancaster

Peggy Ann Cherry Lancaster, age 60, of Milan, Georgia, passed away on September 27, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. Peggy was born on February 1, 1965, in Tift County, Georgia, to Cecil Edward Cherry and Geraldine Allen Cherry, both of whom predeceased her.

Peggy's professional journey began with a career as a clerical worker with Amerigas. She later found her true calling as a paraprofessional at Telfair County High School, where she dedicated herself to supporting the education and growth of countless students. Her service to the community extended beyond her professional life; she was a member of Rockwell Baptist Church, where she found both faith and fellowship.

Throughout her life, Peggy cherished her family above all. She is survived by her beloved son, Jeffrey Allen Lancaster of Milan; her sister, Dianne Brooks of Scooterville; and her brother, Danny Cherry of Milan. Peggy's proudest accomplishments included nurturing her family and forging lasting bonds that will resonate for generations to come.

Visitation for Peggy will be held on September 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockwell Baptist Church Cemetery, located on Temperance Road in Milan, GA. Following the visitation, a graveside service will commence at 11:00 AM.

Peggy Ann Cherry Lancaster will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those who carry her memory in their hearts.
