Nancy Leigh (Smith) Livingston

Nancy Leigh Smith Livingston, 70, of McRae, died Friday, December 9.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Tuesday, December 13, at McRae United Methodist Church with burial in Livingston Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home.

A native of Arlington, VA, Mrs. Livingston was the daughter of the late Lieutenant Colonel Calvin Oliver Smith and the late Mary Doby “Doll” Mann Smith.  A Licensed Nurse Practitioner, she attended Georgia Southern University, Vanderbilt University, Emory College and Georgia College, and was a member of McRae United Methodist Church.  Also a member of the Amazing Girls Bridge Club, Mrs. Livingston was active in Tres Dias and Kairos Ministry.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Barrett Livingston.

Survivors include her children, Douglas Barrett Livingston and Leigh Ann Livingston, both of McRae and Joshua Oliver Livingston, Hazlehurst; sisters, Linda (Paul) Lehner, Dallas, TX and Janet Smith (Frank) Fields, Dublin; brother-in-law, General James E. (Sara) Livingston, Charleston, SC; and grandchildren, Bryce Dalton Livingston, Joshua Cole Livingston, Alyssa Brooke Livingston and Analese Jordan Poole.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
