Mattysue (Hertz) Hinson
Mattysue Hertz Hinson, 90, of Alamo, died Thursday, July 7. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, July 9, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
A native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County, Mrs. Hinson was the daughter of the late Jeter M. and Sue Rhodes Hertz and was the wife of the late Paul Jackson Hinson. A Delta Kappa Gama, she taught elementary and junior high school in Wheeler County for 39 years,
Mrs. Hinson was a member of Alamo United Methodist Church and the Telfair-Wheeler Retired Educators Association. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Milland Hinson.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria E. Ussery, Macon; grandchildren, Dennis Ussery, Richard Ussery, Kristie Lynn Ussery; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Ussery, Jacob Ussery, Trey Glover, Austin Mueller, Brandy McCranie and Courtney Oplt.
