Lionel Lee Lann, a devoted father and a respected member of his community, was born on December 6, 1959, in McRae, Georgia. He passed away on July 6, 2025, in Eastman after a courageous battle with an illness. Lionel’s journey through life was marked by hard work and dedication, beginning his career as a self-employed truck driver before joining Best Buy, where he continued to serve with commitment.

Lionel took great pride in being a father, and his daughter, Chelsey Lea Lann, stood as his proudest accomplishment. He also shared his life with a loving family which included his surviving brothers and sisters, Winky (Connie) Lann, Phillip Lann, Linda Allen, and Libby Ann Lann, all residing in Milan; and sisters-in-law, Jane Lann and Jeanette Lann. Additionally, he cherished his relationships with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who brought joy and support throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elton Lee Lann and Ludie Hester Lann, who provided him with the love and values he carried into adulthood, and three older brothers, Tony Lann, Leroy Lann and  Ronald Lann; and sister-in-law, Kay Lann.

A visitation in honor of Lionel will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vaughn Funeral Home, located at 107 E. Oak Street, McRae, GA 31055. Following this, a graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Milan Cemetery, situated on Mount Zion Street, Milan, GA 31060.

Lionel Lee Lann will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his unwavering spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
