Kent Howard Warner, 55, of McRae, died Saturday, May 4, following an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 5:00P.M., Tuesday, May 7, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Mr. Warner was the son of the late Howard B. and Billie Virginia Lyle Warner. He was a retired service manager and mechanic for Tire Kingdom and was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Warner, and sister, Kathy Abergast.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Tribble Warner, McRae; stepchildren, Amanda Lasher and Christopher Lasher, both of McRae; brothers, Forrest (Carmel) Platz, Kernersville, NC, Ryan (Cindy) Platz, McRae; sister, Diane Johnson, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Tiffany Putt, Rayshun Lasher, Sampson Lasher, Zackery Verdugo and Isaiah Wooten. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
