A Celebration of Life for Juvine Coleman Fields, 81, of McRae, who died Monday, November 1, will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, November 3, at Helena Baptist Church. Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-8:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home.
A lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Fields was the daughter of the late Oscar and Alice Johns Coleman and was a member of Helena Baptist Church where she served as church organist for 45 years. Known for her countless hours of volunteer work with The American Heart Association where she served as Chairman of the local chapter and was named Volunteer of the Year, Mrs. Fields was a dental hygienist for forty years.
Survivors include her son, Mike (Karen) Garrett, Atlanta; granddaughters, Melissa (David) Huddleston, Leslie (Bill) Allen and Adrienne (Thomas) Hudson, all of Birmingham, AL; and ten great-grandchildren.
The family requests that contributions be made to The American Heart Association or to Helena Baptist Church.
