John Forrest McCrimmon, Jr.

John Forrest McCrimmon, Jr., 57, of Helena, died Saturday, October 2, following a brief illness.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00P.M., Monday, October 4, at Southside Baptist Church, McRae, with burial at Oakland (Helena) Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday, 5:00-7:00P.M.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. McCrimmon was the son of the late John Forrest McCrimmon, Sr. and the late Sandra French McCrimmon.  A truck driver with Roy White and with Carey Locke Logging, he was a member of Southside Baptist Church.  Mr. McCrimmon was preceded in death by a brother, Tim McCrimmon.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Howell McCrimmon of Helena; children, Christy McCrimmon, Bonnie Cason, Joni McCrimmon and Hunner McCrimmon, all of Helena, and Brandi McCrimmon of Glenwood; grandchildren, Jayden McCrimmon, Alice Cason, Hailey Foskey, Harley Foskey, Mason McCrimmon and Easton McCrimmon; sisters, Grace Carner and Pauline Clements, both of Helena; special nieces, Jenny Foskey, April Cain, Cassandra McCrimmon, Benita McCrimmon, Brittany Clements and Samantha Clements; nephews, Chris Hoven, Roman Renew, Tommy Cravey and Mark Cravey; sisters-in-law, Vivian McCoy of Eastman and Ethel (Roy) Jeffries of McRae; and brother-in-law, John (Lucille) Howell.
