Joane Claire Spires

Joane Claire Spires, 50, of McRae, died Monday, October 29, following an illness.  A private funeral service will be held with burial at Bethlehem (Sandhill) Church Cemetery.

Born in Hollywood, FL, Miss Spires was the daughter of Steve Spires and the late Patricia Cornell Spires.  She had attended Telfair County Schools and was a member of Bethlehem (Sandhill) United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her parents, Steve and Renee Spires of McRae; brothers, David (Dottie) Spires of Hazlehurst, Waylon (Starr) Spires and Wiley Spires, both of McRae; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
