Jim Lane

Jim Lane, 70, of McRae, died Saturday, July 5.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, June 7, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home and burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

A native of Fredericksburg, VA, Mr. Lane was the son of the late James E. and Ellen Catherine Seabolt Lane.  A US Army veteran, he attended Macedonia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Henry Rhodes, James Rhodes, Elmer Rhodes, Matthew Lane, Margaret Harris, Margie Reynolds and Martha Lane

Survivors include his companion, Rachel Mosher, McRae; brother, Winters “Bunn” Rhodes, Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Ruth Coffey, Alexandria, VA and Evaline Martin, Bedford, VA; and extended family, Brad (Candace) Mosher, Jasper, AL, Lamara (Jay) Moore, Cochran, Gabe Mosher and Lincoln Mosher, Jasper, AL and Jessi Moore, Atlanta.
