Javine (Davis) Vaughn

Javine Davis Vaughn, 67, of Rhine, died Thursday, October 23.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, October 26, at Friendship Church Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Ms. Vaughn was the daughter of the late Preston and Isabell Hulett Davis.  She was an LPN with McRae Manor, Abbeville Nursing Home, Heart of GA Nursing Home, Eastman, Carl Vinson VA Hospital, Dodge County EMS and Telfair EMS.  Ms. Vaughn was a member of China Hill Christian Church and United Pentecostal Church, and attended New Daniels Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Mitchell Vaughn, Jr.

Survivors include a son, Preston Douglas Vaughn, Milan; daughters, Mona (Waymon) Jones, Rhine and Patsy Ann Vaughn Amaro, Statesboro; sisters, Mandy Gossett, Centerville and Ann Harrelson, Scotland; grandchildren, Kyle Douglas Vaughn (Kayla Taylor), Taylor Marissa Vaughn, Amanda (Johnathon) Jones, Mahalia (Adam) Gregory, Hunter Reed Jones, Cory Jake Conley and Johnny Warren Conley; step-grandchildren, Andy Jones and Mandi Jones; great-grandchildren, Braiden Conley and Kambri Vaughn and step-great-grandchild, Lexi Anne Ellis.
