James Ross "Jimmy" Jeffries, Jr.

James Ross “Jimmy” Jeffries, Jr., 53, of Ft. Valley, died Monday, October 21.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, October 24, at Peachtree Baptist Church, Byron.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The son of the late James Ross Jeffries, Sr. and the late Julia Ann “Judy” Peavy Friend, Jimmy was a truck driver and a member of Peachtree Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Jessica Jeffries, Stockbridge and Branden Jeffries, Placerville, CA; sisters and brother, Karen Wriedt, Phenix City, AL, Serena Rabideau, Chesapeake, VA, Gwen Wood, McRae and Brian Bustamante, Centerville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
