James Carson Alford, Jr.

James C. "J.C." Alford, Jr., 75, of McRae, died suddenly on Saturday, September 5.

The son of the late James Carson Alford, Sr. and the late Jewell Annette Gupton Alford, James was a truck driver for Pepperidge Farms and Campbell's Soup.  He was preceded in death by brother, Morris G. Alford and a sister, Sandra Johns.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Michael, Sr.) Wakelee of Vienna, VA; son, Daniel Alford of Tempe, AZ; brother, David Ronald Alford of McRae; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wakelee and Michael Wakelee.
