Inez (Logue) Spires
Inez Logue Spires, 90, of McRae, died Wednesday, November 14. Funeral services will be at 2:00P.M., Saturday, November 17, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial at Midway Church Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 7:00-9:00P.M.
Ms. Spires was the daughter of the late Carlos and Della Varnadoe Logue, and the wife of the late Howard Spires. A wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and had retired from Roydon Wear after more than 20 years of service.
Survivors include her children, Harvey (Geneva) Spires, Milan, Jimmy (Jackie) Spires, Carolyn Towns, McRae, and youngest son and daughter-in-law, Milan; sisters, Ottie Lee Knowles and Gladys White, McRae; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and loving pet, Rocker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
