Freddie Louise (Draffin) Hulett
Freddie Louise Draffin Hulett, 83, of Milan, died Tuesday, March 15. Funeral services were at 3:00P.M., Friday, March 18, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Hulett Cemetery.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Hulett was the daughter of the late Alfred and Evie Bass Draffin and was married to the late J.P. Hulett, Jr.. She was well known in the area for her wonderful home cooking and for being a sweet “Granny” to her grandchildren. She enjoyed caring for others and gardening, especially with flowers. Mrs. Hulett was preceded in death by a son, Luther Hugh Hulett and a great-granddaughter, Skyla Hulett.
Survivors include her sons, Marvin Hulett, Milan and Tony Hulett, Rhine; grandchildren, Shawna Martinez, Douglas, David Hulett, Broxton, Bessie Hulett, Milan, and J.D. Cliett and Rick Cliett, both of Jacksonville. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
