Ernestine (Hilliard) Pitts

Ernestine Hilliard Pitts, 64, of Rhine, died Wednesday, May 25, following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Saturday, May 28, at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in the Sand Grove Church Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

A native of Fitzgerald, Mrs. Pitts was the daughter of the late William Henry Hilliard, Sr. and the late Georgia Ann Brown Hilliard.  She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was employed with Roper, American Yard Products and Husqvarna for 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Eugene Pitts, Rhine; brothers, Pete Hilliard, Rochelle and William “Tip” Hilliard, Jr., Macclenny, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
