Eloise Towns Yawn

Eloise Towns Yawn, 79, of Rhine died Thursday, July 4.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., Monday, July 8, at Rockwell Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Towns was the daughter of the late Guy C. and Christine Briley Towns. A registered nurse, she worked at Dodge County Hospital and as a visiting nurse.  A member of Milan Church of God, Mrs. Towns was preceded in death by sons, Phillip Chaney and Dwayne Chaney.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jack Yawn of Rhine; sons, John (Sue) Chaney of Eastman, Jack Yawn, Jr. of Rhine and Jeremy (Mildred) Yawn of Jacksonville, FL; brothers and sisters, Jean (Ralph) Horne of Milan, Daniel (Pam) Towns of Hazlehurst, David Towns of Chauncey and Wyoma Johns of Warner Robins; and grandchildren, Ailey Leona Yawn, Cody Jeremy Yawn, Elleona Grace Yawn, Ashley Johnson, Phillip Chaney, Trevor Chaney and Zack Chaney.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
