El Donna Joy Bowen

El Donna Joy Scholts Bowen, 77, of McRae, died Wednesday, July 3, following an illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00.M., Friday, July 5, at Offerman Baptist Church Cemetery, Offerman, GA.

A native of Waycross, Mrs. Bowen was the wife of the late Rev. Claude Harley Bowen and was a long time employee of the local Dairy Queen.  

Survivors include her friends and caregivers, Charlotte (Bernie) Horne of Helena and Margie (Jason) Joiner of McRae; and brother-in-law, Richard (Etwendil) Bowen of Odum.  Several other friends also survive
