David Alan Cole, a devoted husband, loving brother, and respected retired law enforcement officer, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 64 in Dublin, Georgia. Born on October 29, 1961, in Germany, David's life was marked by a commitment to service and a deep-seated compassion for others.
David's career as a police officer and paramedic reflected his dedication to his profession. His colleagues and those he served with will remember him not only for his professionalism but also for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand in times of need. He embodied the qualities of a selfless protector and an invaluable member of the team.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Cole, who stood beside him through thick and thin, sharing the joys and challenges of life. David is also survived by his sister, Lisa (Joe) Smith of Post Oak Bend, Texas, and his brother, Jamie Cole of Temple. The bonds of family were integral to David's life, and he cherished the moments spent with his loved ones.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Buren Cole and Joanne Dunn Cole, who nurtured and instilled in him the values that guided his life. He also mourns the loss of his son, Joshua David Cole, whose memory will forever be a source of love and inspiration.
A visitation to honor David's life will take place on February 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bethlehem-Sandhill Methodist Church. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Bethlehem-Sandhill Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
David Alan Cole leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and dedication, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
