David Ronald "Ronnie" Alford

David Ronald "Ronnie" Alford, 73, of McRae died Wednesday, August 14, following a lengthy illness.  The family will announce a memorial service  at a later date.

A native of Connecticut, Mr. Alford was the son of the late James Carson Alford, Sr. and the late Jewel Gupton Alford.  He was a construction worker with Robins Air Force Base.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Brandi Alford, Emmett Johns, Jr., Jamie Johns, Amber Hulett, Brenda Wakelee, Danny Alford, Irene Alford, Barbara Hulett, and Kayla Johns; and brother-in-law, Emmett Johns, Sr.
