Charles Gregory Smith

Charles Gregory Smith, 57, of Soperton died suddenly on Saturday, July 11.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., Tuesday, July 14, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

A native of Telfair County where he lived for most of his life, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Charles Edward and Susie Jane Giddens Smith.  He was a graduate of Wheeler County High School and had attended Towns Church of God in his earlier years.

Survivors include his sister, Peggy Burgess of Reidsville; niece, Chelsea (Brandon) Waters of Vidalia; great-nieces and nephews, Lee, Landon, Addison, Braydon and Chansley.  Several cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.
