Boneda Elaine Bearden, a beloved member of the Helena community, passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on July 30, 1950, in Wheeler County, she brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered. She was a shining light, known for her cheerful disposition and infectious smile.

Boneda had a fulfilling career as a Dental Office Manager for many years before choosing to become a devoted homemaker. Her commitment to her family and community was evident in all she did. Boneda was actively involved with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Community Church of God, where she found joy in worshipping with the congregation there.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Tony Bearden of Helena, and her caring parents, Duane and Madgelene Conner of Helena. Boneda is also survived by her children, Tony Hutchison of Lakeland, FL, and Caleb Powell (Marshae) Bearden of Evans. In addition, she cherished her step-children, Julie Black (Jana Spencer) of Lehi, UT, Josh Bearden of Monterey, CA, Amanda (Drew) Cremeans of Beaver Falls, PA, Adam Bearden (Lori Nguyen) of Marina, CA, Rebecca Bearden (Josh Yates) of Salt Lake City, UT, Melissa (Charlie) Bay of North Port, FL, and Matthew (Osmeilie) Bearden of Tavares, FL; and brother, Bill Horne of Jesup.

Boneda was a proud grandmother, delighting in the company of her grandchildren: Leo Bearden, Elias Bearden, Aria Bearden, Jonah Hutchison, Josh Cremeans, Henry Bay, Julia Bay, Jared Bearden, Derek Bearden, Aaron Bearden, Nathaniel Black, Bradley Black, Lindsey Black, Joseph Black, and Olivia Cremeans. They were among her proudest accomplishments.

She is preceded in death by her father, Troy William Horne, Jr., who will forever be remembered alongside her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, May 31, at the Community Church of God, 103 Community Church Rd.,  McRae-Helena, GA, followed by burial at Harrelson Family Cemetery. Boneda's legacy of kindness, love, and devotion to her family will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
