Bobby Lee Holloway

Bobby Lee Holloway, 82, passed away in Dublin, Georgia on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Mr. Holloway was born in Lowell, Georgia, to parents Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Holloway, on December 17, 1931. He was a World War II veteran, and received the Victory Medal. He was a Real Estate Broker and businessman in Metro-Atlanta since 1957. Mr. Holloway is pre-deceased by: Clyde Holloway, father; Clide Delia Holloway, mother; Grady H. Holloway, brother; Tommie Lou Thompson, sister; Christine Johnson, sister; Clara Mae Davis, sister; Betty Ann Roberts, sister; Ray Holloway, brother; Reverend Clyde Holloway, Jr., brother; Rayford Holloway, brother.

Mr. Holloway is survived by his wife, Ruth Hulett Holloway, Eastman, Georgia; children, Alan K. Holloway, Newnan, Georgia, Susan “Lori” Holloway Bradley, Newnan, Georgia, Leigh Ann Holloway Archer, Chickamauga, Georgia, Zachary L. Holloway,  Auburn, Alabama; sisters, Carolyn Minix, Sharpsburg, Georgia, Shirley Ann Haines, Lakeland, Florida; and brother, Donald Eugene Holloway, Buchanan, Georgia. Three special grandchildren also survive Mr. Holloway: Mallory Lee, Daniel Archer, and David Archer, as well as nieces and nephews. The Holloway Family would also like to provide a special thank you to his caretakers Elaine Lutwinski, Gina Wright, and Serenity Hospice Care Staff.

For friends & loved ones, in South Georgia, there will be a visitation at Vaughn Funeral Home, 107 East Oak Street, McRae, Georgia 31055, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm. All family, friends and loved ones, are also welcome to attend the funeral service to be held at South Metro Ministries, 3935 Georgia E Highway 34, Sharpsburg, Georgia 30277, on Wednesday, August 19, 2014 at 2:30 pm. A public viewing and visitation will precede the funeral service from 1:00-2:30 pm, with interment to follow the service, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan, Georgia 30264.
