Billy Steverson

Billy Steverson, 74, of Helena, died Sunday, September 09, following a lengthy illness.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00P.M., Tuesday, September 11, at Oakland (Helena) Cemetery.

A native of McRae where he lived most of his life, Mr. Steverson was the son of the late William Steverson, Sr. and the late Mary Alice Brewer Steverson.  He was a truck driver and farmer for most of his life.

Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Kight of Rhine and Vicki Steverson of Helena; sisters, Nancy (Tom) Wright of Toccoa, Lynda Vaughn of Helena and Patsy Vaughn of McRae; grandchildren, Joshua Dykes, Keely (Justin) Pitts and Dylan Kight; and a great-grandson, Fisher Wade Pitts. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Dennis Bearden, Cindy Gault, Christopher Steverson, Katie Miner and Shannon Cook (Butterbean).
