Betty Ann Peavy, of Forest Park, born on November 18, 1935, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was a beloved figure, known for her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and an unwavering dedication to serving and helping others throughout her life.

In her professional career, Betty spent many years working in the advertising department of a grocery store chain, where her creativity and commitment left a lasting impact. Yet, it was in her personal life that she truly shined. Betty was an integral member of the Morrow Christian Church, serving and teaching Sunday School until the age of 80, reflecting her lifelong passion for nurturing and uplifting those around her.

Betty cherished her family and is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann (Richard) Teate, and her son, Ronald K. (Michelle) Peavy. She was a proud grandmother to Mallory Teate, Alex (Brittany) Teate, Katie Peavy, and Connor (Leah) Peavy, and a loving great-grandmother (PV) to Madelyn Teate and Wesley Teate. Her legacy also includes numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry her spirit of joy and laughter forward.

Betty loved the simple pleasures in life, finding joy in angels, Elvis music, chocolate-covered cherries, daisies, and lighthouses. Her love for laughter made her a joy to be around, and she created beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Aubrey Lewis and Marie Ottelia Brown Lewis, her brother, Aubrey Lewis, and her sister, Sandra Hall. Their memories will remain entwined with hers as a testament to the love that bonded them in life.

A visitation will be held on August 16, 2025, at Woodstock Funeral Home, located at 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:30 PM.

Betty Ann Peavy’s warmth and kindness made an impact on the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.
