Audrey (Buttrom) Smith

Audrey Buttrom Smith, 78, of Warner Robins, died Thursday, September 22.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Sunday, September 25, at Fishing Creek Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday, 6:00-8:00P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae.

A native of Lumber City, Ms. Smith was the daughter of the late William Albert Buttrom and the late Lois Ray Buttrom, and was the wife of the late Lawrence V. Smith.  A retired hairdresser, she loved her family, working in her yard and fishing.  Ms. Smith was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Buttrom, a sister, Jeanette Steadham and a great-granddaughter, Marley May Bass.

Survivors include her children, David (Sharon) Bass, Lumber City and Ginger (Sammy) Page, Kathleen; a brother, Donald Buttrom, Byron; grandchildren, James Bass, Warner Robins, Kim (J.R.) Spires, Lumber City, Rodney (Amanda) Bass, Scotland and Brittney Page, Kathleen.  Nine great-grandchildren also survive.
