Alton Alan Hulett, a dedicated welder and plumber who contributed his skills to Fab Tec of Douglas, passed away on November 2, 2024, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Born on May 25, 1955, in McRae, Georgia, Alton served his country honorably for eight years in the Army, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to his service and his community. He was a member of Central Grove Church of God.
Mr. Hulett was a beloved brother to Genice (Carl) Myers of Jacksonville, Wayne (Kathy) Hulett of Roanoke, Alabama, Ann (Buck) Dunton of Eastman, and Owen Hulett of McRae. He embraced his family with open arms and will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished his vibrant spirit and loving nature.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Dorsey Hulett and Mary Corene Gillis Hulett, who instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity, as well as brothers, Robert Herman Hulett and Billy Jack Hulett.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughn Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place the following day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Alton Alan Hulett's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all who were touched by his kindness and dedication.
