Alma Bonnell (Whitehead) Riddle

Bonnell Whitehead Riddle, 88, of Alamo, died Sunday, May 29.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, June 1, at Alamo First Baptist Church with burial in the Alamo Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

A native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County, Mrs. Riddle was the daughter of the late M.F. and Kathleen Rabun Whitehead and was the wife of the late Walter C. Riddle, Jr.  A homemaker for most of her life, she sold Avon and Stanley products and worked at Alamo Shirt Factory, Flash Foods and a dry goods store.  Mrs. Riddle was a member of Alamo First Baptist Church where she was active in her Sunday School Class and WMU.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Riddle.

Survivors include her children, Johnny Riddle, Helena, Judy (Jerry) Powell, Lumber City and Jimmy Riddle, Alamo; grandchildren, Mandy Riddle, Cindy Riddle, Jason (Mandy) Powell and Joni Powell; and great-grandchildren, Marley Powell and Mason Powell.
