My heart is saddened that I will not be with you, dear family, today. Aunt Sug is so very special to me. I learned from a tender age to trust in Jesus from Mama, Aunt Sug, Aunt Addie Mae & other family members. Mama told me when I was a little girl, how she was at death's door from falling on a hay rake & Aunt Sug prayed for her & told the Lord she would preach for him if He would save her little sister. It was a miracle & she lived. Aunt Sug went on to preach for 3/4 of a century! Aunt Sug is a Lighthouse of Jesus' love. You could count on Aunt Sug's prayers. You could count on a welcoming hug & feel her love for you. I can only imagine the JOY of the other family members who have gone on when my dear, Aunt Sug joined them in Heaven. Her prayers & influence on each of us are seeds she & Jesus planted that will multiply for generations to come if we share them and share stories of Aunt Sug's life on Earth. John 3:16
