Jacqueline “Jackie” Lucille Varnadoe Rowland, 54, of Alamo, died Friday, October 13.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, October 15, at Springhill Baptist Church with burial in the Springhill Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

Born in McRae, Jackie lived in Wheeler County all of her life and was the daughter of the late Louie and Helen Bass Varnadoe.  The wife of the late Bobby Rowland, Sr., she had worked at Amercord for many years and more recently at Visiting Nurses Association.  Jackie was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Bobby (Rebekah) Rowland, Jr. of Alamo, Lisa Edge, Joli Rogers, Tasha Hampton and Josh Jones, all of Hazlehurst; sister, Catherine Barker of Alamo; and grandchildren, Briley Rowland, Bobby Rowland, III, and Taylor Hampton.
