Judy and Joe Brown, your Mother was a gracious Southern lady who was respected and appreciated by those who knew her. We are so glad that she was a friend of our family. We enjoyed visits, cards, and many of her delicious dishes that she prepared and brought to our Mother, Mary's table.
She was proud of both of you and each of her grandchildren and great-grands. She leaves a legacy of strong Christian faith, and would want all of her family members to also share in the joy of knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Judy, we have an appointment Wednesday that will prevent us from being at her service, however, we will be praying for you before, during, and afterwards.

I remember Mrs. Fletcher growing up and alway thought of her as a kind, genteel lady though I never knew her really well.

The last time I saw Mrs. Fletcher at Southern Charm she was so gracious and kind, quick to praise others and not wanting any attention on herself . I consider her one of my Christian mentors from First Baptist Church of McRae.

Mrs. Wynette was a remarkable woman, the epitome of a true Southern Lady. However, she didn't hesitate to "take you to the cleaners" in a game of Bridge! We'll miss her.

Judy, so sorry to hear of your mother's death. What a fine lady!! She played duplicate bridge with my grandmother and mother. They were also founders of the McRae Duplicate Club. I also play with the McRae Club now and saw Winnette until she was unable to play. Will also miss her!!!

So sorry for your loss! I remember Ms. Winnette well growing up in both McRae & the First Baptist Church. Wish I could be there for the visitation.
