Herman T. Langley, 88, of McRae, died Tuesday, December 8.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, December 12, at McRae First Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 5:30-7:30P.M.
A native of Ellijay, Mr. Langley was the son of the late Avery and Pluma Tankersley Langley and was recently widowed by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Humphrey Langley.  He was a member of McRae First Baptist Church and was a former Regional Manager for Farmers Home Administration.  Mr. Langley was a US Navy veteran of World War II, as well as an Army veteran.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Gail Langley.
Survivors include his daughter, Janis L. (Wendell) Murray, Lawrenceville; son, Timothy Avery (Kim) Langley; sister, Geneva Hyatt, Smyrna; brothers, Hubert Langley, Dalton, Jack Langley, Charlotte, NC and Raymond Langley, Ball Ground; and grandchildren, Christa Marie Murray, Avery Jane Langley, Sarah Kate Langley and Charis Rosslyn Langley.
